A2 Collective Identity Lesson 7

Hi All

Here are the notes from todays final lesson on Sub Cultures - make sure you have read them and added them to your revision in your books.

Remember your homework;

In your pairs you need to research and add information about your subculture.

Try and find out the following research:

- When was the subculture popular (Time Period)
- What did the subculture entail (What did they do? How did you 'join')
- Was there any specific language or dress code
- What was their representation in the media (find examples if possible)
- Are there any similar subcultures today?

You can use the link below to add information to the prezi, but it will allow allow ONE editor per pair to upload so decide who will be uploading the information.

A2 Final Blog Marking

Hi A2 Stuents

I have just completed marking your blogs and giving you the improvements for the next 2 weeks. Any updates you make between now and tomorrow will not be in this marking so be aware of this (don't tell me I have missed something if you post it after this email is sent).

Well done to D'mee, Gianni and Georgina for posting their Digipak and Website. I am concerned that the rest of you have failed to post either a final video, final website, final digipak or any of the evaluation questions - I will bring this up tomorrow and will be making some phone calls home.

You will receive a detailed feedback sheet tomorrow but I have attached the mark scheme so check your work against this and see if you think your work is a Level 4!

See you tomorrow morning!
